Job summary

Happier at Home in the Greater Birmingham Metro Area, AL, seeks professional caregivers for weekend day shifts or overnights in private duty home care. We serve Birmingham, Hoover, and surrounding communities with one-on-one non-medical care that helps clients remain safe and independent at home.

You will provide ADLs, companionship, meal prep, light housekeeping, transport if needed, and careful documentation for the care team.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with a high school diploma or GED, or relevant experience.
• Prior caregiver experience preferred (CNA/HHA/PCA/DSP).
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the Birmingham Metro.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance required.
• Smartphone proficiency for scheduling and care notes.
• Dementia or memory care experience valued.
• Clear background screening.

Professional Caregiver (Private Duty Home Care) Weekend Shifts Only

Greater Birmingham Metro Area, AL.

Serving Birmingham, Hoover, Vestavia Hills, Homewood, Pelham, Alabaster, Hueytown, Gardendale, Fultondale, Trussville, Irondale, Center Point & surrounding communities

Compensation: $14.00–$15.00+/hour based on reliability and shift type

Schedule Options: Consistent part-time and full-time cases available (1–12-hour shifts)

Preferred Availability: Weekends Day shift or overnights

What You’ll Do:
