Job summary

Happier at Home - Birmingham, AL is hiring Professional Caregivers for private duty home care across the Greater Birmingham Metro Area. We provide non-medical, one-on-one support in clients' homes to help them stay safe and independent.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, companionship, meal prep, light housekeeping, transport, and documenting care activities. Reliable, compassionate caregivers with strong boundaries and good communication are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• 18+ with high school diploma/GED or relevant experience.
• Prior caregiver/healthcare experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the Birmingham Metro.
• Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance.
• Smartphone proficiency for scheduling and care notes.
• Ability to assist with mobility and stay active during shifts.
• Clear background screening.
• Dementia or memory care experience strongly valued.

Greater Birmingham Metro Area, AL

Serving Birmingham, Hoover, Vestavia Hills, Homewood, Pelham, Alabaster, Hueytown, Gardendale, Fultondale, Trussville, Irondale, Center Point & surrounding communities

Compensation: $14.00–$15.00+/hour based on reliability and shift type

Schedule Options: Consistent part-time and full-time cases available (1–12 hour shifts)

Preferred Availability: open or weekend shift preferred.
