Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking an experienced arborist to maintain, prune, and remove trees on residential and commercial properties. This hands-on role requires climbing and operating various equipment with a strong emphasis on safety.

Ideal candidates have proven tree care experience, bucket truck operation, rigging knowledge, and familiarity with ANSI A300 and Z133 standards. ISA certification or CTSP/TRAQ is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in tree care, including trimming, pruning, and removal.
• Experience operating bucket trucks and performing bucket operations safely.
• Understanding of rigging techniques used in arboriculture is preferred.
• ISA Certified Arborist or other relevant certifications (CTSP, TRAQ) are a plus.
• Knowledge of tree species.
• Proficient in tree climbing techniques and aerial lift operation.
• Familiarity with ANSI A300 and Z133 safety standards.
• Excellent physical stamina and ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform tree trimming, pruning, and removal using appropriate techniques and equipment.
• Operate bucket trucks, aerial lifts, wood chippers, skid steers and stump grinders safely and efficiently.
• Utilize rigging methods for safe tree removal and limb lowering.
• Operate chainsaws, pole saws, and other power tools safely.
• Drag and chip brush, rake debris, and clean up work sites.
• Support climbers and bucket truck operators from the ground.
• Load and unload equipment and tools at the start and end of each job.
• Maintain tools and equipment in clean, working condition.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Direct pedestrian or vehicle traffic around job sites as needed.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure efficient workflow.
