SavATree is seeking a Skilled Arborist to perform pruning, climbing, removals, chipping, stump grinding, and related arboricultural services with a strong emphasis on safety and quality. Responsibilities include leading crews, maintaining work records, and communicating with clients to ensure satisfaction, while upholding safety policies and proper equipment use.

The role requires 4+ years of arboricultural experience, ISA certification or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of arboricultural/climbing/aerial lift truck experience.
• ISA Certified Arborist, or comparable industry training will be considered.
• Possess or obtain a Class 5 Drivers Licence with Air Brakes Endorsement shortly after hire.
• WHMIS Certificate required.
• First Aid Certificate required.

Responsabilités

• Pruning, climbing, removals, chipping, stump grinding, root pruning & root barrier installation, hedge shearing, plant health care diagnosis & treatment, planting & relocation, cable & bracing, tree risk assessments.
• Record keeping: maintain records of work orders; complete tailgate records; witness safety/training passport tailgates; attend district safety meetings; ensure PHC trucks are prepared and refueled.
