About Us: Albany State University is a fully accredited senior unit of the University System of Georgia. The Professional Advisor II promotes a positive and successful learning experience for students to increase retention, success, and completion. The advisor facilitates advising and registration, ensures students are connected with support services and activities, disseminates program information, and tracks student performance. They collaborate with stakeholders across campus, remain current on academic policies, and attend trainings and meetings. The position may require occasional evening, weekend, and extended hours during peak academic periods.
