Job summary

Rising Starz Child Care Center in Texas is seeking a Full-Time Toddler Teacher to create a safe, calm, and nurturing classroom for children 18 to 30 months.

You will support daily routines, early language development, social-emotional growth, and growing independence, while maintaining DFPS standards and Texas Rising Star expectations. The 40-hour work week runs Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–6:00 PM, with a lunch break.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a toddler classroom or licensed Child Care Center.
• Meets DFPS requirements for employment in a licensed Child Care Center.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, nurturing care in a safe and responsive classroom
• Support meals, diapering/toileting routines, naps, transitions, and daily routines
• Use Frog Street Curriculum to support early learning and development
• Encourage early language, social-emotional growth, self-help skills, and independence

Job Summary

As a Full-Time Toddler Teacher at Rising Starz, you will help create a safe, calm, and nurturing classroom for children ages 18 months to 30 months. This position supports toddlers through daily routines, early language development, social-emotional growth, and growing independence. You will help children feel secure, supported, engaged, and encouraged as they learn routines, manage big feelings, and build confidence.

Work Schedule

This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position. The scheduled workday is Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with a lunch break.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Frog Street Curriculum
• Familiarity with classroom documentation, developmental milestones, and licensing standards
• Ability to communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking children and families
• Child Development Associate credential
