Angels R Us Kidz Academy in Chicago, IL is seeking a passionate Lead Toddler Teacher to join our growing team and make a lasting impact on our youngest learners. This role involves planning age-appropriate curricula and daily lesson plans, while creating a warm, nurturing classroom environment aligned with licensing requirements.

You will supervise toddlers, document milestones, communicate with families, and mentor assistant staff in a supportive, child-centered setting.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience with toddlers in a childcare or preschool setting.
• Knowledge of DCFS licensing requirements and early childhood best practices.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong communication, patience and classroom management skills.
• Ability to pass a background check as required by Illinois state regulations.
• Warm, energetic, and child-centered approach to teaching and caregiving.
