Job summary

A S & P Corporation is seeking a compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our Union City, CA team. You will provide personalized care, support daily living activities, and help individuals with developmental disabilities live more independently.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily tasks, documenting ISP progress, transporting clients, and promoting community engagement while maintaining safety and quality care standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience as a DSP, caregiver, or in human services preferred.
• Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check and health screening.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong interpersonal skills with a patient, empathetic, and client-centered approach.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays.
