Help people build independence and enjoy everyday life
Unbound Living, Inc. is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support people with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities in Hamilton, Fairfield, Middletown, and Liberty Township, Ohio. Bring patience, dependability, and a willingness to learn. Previous DSP experience is welcome, and applicants new to the field can receive training.
Our greatest immediate need is full-time second-shift DSPs, working 3-11 p.m., with at least three positions available. We are also recruiting for first-shift and awake-overnight openings, including the November 9 start. We are moving quickly to complete hiring by November 4 so onboarding and training can occur before that start date.
Current hiring priorities
- Second shift: 3-11 p.m. - at least 3 full-time positions; our greatest immediate need.
- First shift: 7 a.m.-3 p.m. - 1 full-time and 1 part-time position.
- Awake overnight: 11 p.m.-7 a.m. - 1 full-time and 1 part-time position; staff remain awake throughout the shift. Liberty Township awake overnight coverage starts November 9.
All positions require availability and willingness to work at least one weekend shift every week.
Part-time positions require at least 24 hours per week. Please select every shift you can consistently work when applying and tell us when you can interview and attend onboarding and training.
Openings beginning December 2
- OSOC overnight, 11 p.m.-7 a.m., begins December 2, with coverage needed for 2 full-time positions. Part-time OSOC opportunities are also available from December 2: two part-time employees may cover one full-time position if needed. These are alternative staffing arrangements for the same coverage need. One additional full-time second-shift position, 3-11 p.m., also opens December 2. We are open to hiring in advance for onboarding, orientation, online training and in-person training before the OSOC assignment starts. There may also be fill-in shifts with other clients beforehand, depending on needs and availability. On-Site-On-Call is a sleep shift: staff may sleep but must respond to client needs whenever they arise.
Pay and support
- First, second, and awake overnight shifts: $15.50-$18+ per hour, based on experience, interview, qualifications and certifications, job performance, responsibility, longevity, and client assignment.
- Full-time and part-time OSOC sleep shifts beginning December 2: fixed $14 per hour.
- Paid weekly, every Friday.
- Worked company holidays are paid at 1.5 times the regular rate.
- Overtime is available; specific overtime hours are not guaranteed.
- Training, leadership support, and opportunities for professional growth.
