Unbound Living, Inc. is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support people with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities in Hamilton, Fairfield, and Middletown, Ohio. Bring patience, dependability, and a willingness to learn.

Previous DSP experience is welcome, and applicants new to the field can receive training. Openings include multiple shifts: 7 a.m.–3 p.m., 3–11 p.m., and overnight options. All positions require availability for at least one weekend shift weekly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record.
• Willingness to travel locally and work weekends.
• No prior Direct Support Professional experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals' independence, dignity, and community participation.
• Assist with personal care, hygiene, mobility, and daily routines per each person’s plan.
• Help prepare meals and maintain a clean, safe home.
• Provide companionship, patient communication, and behavior support as directed.
• Transport clients locally using your insured personal vehicle.
• Document care accurately and communicate concerns to the team.

Unbound Living, Inc. is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support people with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities in Hamilton, Fairfield, and Middletown, Ohio. Bring patience, dependability, and a willingness to learn. Previous DSP experience is welcome, and applicants new to the field can receive training.

Openings available now

• Second shift: 3–11 p.m. — full-time; our greatest immediate need.
• First shift: 7 a.m.–3 p.m. — full-time.
• Awake overnight: 11 p.m.–7 a.m. — full-time; staff remain awake throughout the shift.
• OSOC overnight: 11 p.m.–7 a.m. — full-time and part-time; part-time requires at least 24 hours per week. On-Site-On-Call is a sleep shift: staff may sleep but must respond to client needs whenever they arise.

All positions require availability and willingness to work at least one weekend shift every week.

Onboarding and training can begin immediately.

Pay and support

• First, second, and awake overnight shifts: $15.50–$18+ per hour, based on experience, interview, qualifications and certifications, job performance, responsibility, longevity, and client assignment.
• Full-time and part-time OSOC sleep shifts: $14 per hour.
• Paid weekly, every Friday.
• Worked company holidays are paid at 1.5 times the regular rate.
• Overtime is available; specific overtime hours are not guaranteed.
• Training, leadership support, and opportunities for professional growth.

Training compensation and onboarding requirements are explained before training begins.

What you will do

• Support individual choices, independence, dignity, and participation in community life.
• Assist with personal care, hygiene, walking, mobility, and daily routines according to each person’s support plan.
• Help prepare meals and maintain a clean, safe home.
• Provide companionship, patient communication, and behavior support as directed.
• Transport clients locally to appointments and community activities using your dependable, insured personal vehicle.
• Document care accurately, follow instructions, and communicate concerns to the team.

What you will need

• A high school diploma or GED, with documentation available during onboarding.
• A valid, unrestricted driver’s license with fewer than six MVR points, a dependable personal vehicle, and proof of vehicle liability insurance.
• Willingness to travel locally with clients and meet the weekly weekend-shift requirement.
• Dependable attendance, patience, active listening, respectful personal care, and accurate documentation.

DSP, home-care, nursing-assistant, and other caregiving experience are welcome. Prior DSP experience is not required; we provide training to help you prepare for the role.
