Job summary

Grady Rentals LLC seeks a Regional Operations Manager – Environmental Services to lead the regional P&L, oversee field personnel and equipment, and drive profitability. This role ensures compliant, safe execution of remediation, spill response, and heavy equipment operations.

The ideal candidate has 7–10+ years in leadership within environmental services, strong regulatory knowledge (OSHA, EPA, DOT), and a track record in sales/proposals. Significant travel is required in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Construction Management, Safety, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• 7–10+ years of progressive leadership and operational experience in environmental remediation, industrial services, oil & gas environmental support, or civil contracting.
• 3–5 years of demonstrated direct P&L management, job cost accounting, project estimation, and commercial sales/proposal generation experience.
• Proven leadership background directly managing multi-tiered teams (Supervisors, Technicians, CDL drivers, and specialty subcontractors).
• Strong technical background in remediation technologies, earthmoving practices, spill control, and regulatory agency engagement.

Job Details: Job Location: ECO - CLEBURNE, TX 76031, Position Type: Full Time, The Regional Operations Manager – Environmental Services serves as the chief operational, commercial, and financial leader for their assigned regional business unit. This role exercises full ownership over the regional Profit & P&L, financial expenditures, regional revenue growth, sales/business development, customer account collections, proposal estimation and authoring, master project scheduling, and comprehensive oversight of all field personnel and equipment assets assigned to their territory.

Operating under the executive leadership of the Director of Environmental Services, the Regional Operations Manager directs the safe and compliant execution of in-situ and ex-situ environmental remediation, emergency spill response, industrial field services, waste management, and heavy yellow-iron operations. The ideal candidate must possess an advanced operational understanding of Federal, State, and Local regulatory frameworks (i.e., OSHA, DOT, EPA, Ohio EPA, PADEP, WVDEP, TCEQ, and NMED). The Regional Operations Manager is responsible for driving operational excellence, maintaining strict corporate HSE enforcement, mentoring supervisory personnel, managing commercial client relationships, and scaling regional profitability.

This position involves a balanced executive operational commitment with an expectation of an approximate 50/50% field-to-office ratio across the regional operating footprint. As the senior regional operational authority, this position carries overall 24/7/365 accountability for regional emergency spill incidents, major operational escalations, and incident response deployments. Frequent regional travel is required across all client facilities, job sites, and regulatory field offices within the assigned geographic territory.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Construction Management, Safety, Business Administration, or related discipline required; or equivalent extensive multi-site operational leadership experience.
• Minimum 7–10+ years of progressive leadership and operational experience in environmental remediation, industrial services, oil & gas environmental support, or civil contracting.
• Minimum 3–5 years of demonstrated direct P&L management, job cost accounting, project estimation, and commercial sales/proposal generation experience.
• Proven leadership background directly managing multi-tiered teams (Supervisors, Technicians, CDL drivers, and specialty subcontractors).
• Strong technical background in in-situ and ex-situ remediation technologies, earthmoving practices, spill control, and regulatory agency engagement.
• Working operational knowledge of Class A CDL commercial motor carrier requirements, DOT compliance, and heavy/compact equipment capabilities (excavators and skid steers).

Certifications:

• OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER and active 8-Hour HAZWOPER Supervisor certification.
• Current First Aid / CPR / AED certification.
• Industry-recognized environmental or safety credentials (e.g., CHMM, CSP, PE, PMP) highly preferred.
