Job Description

Automation Personnel Services is seeking a Production Wrapper for a food manufacturing facility in Chattanooga, TN. In this role, you will support all production processes and facility equipment. Primary duties include preventative maintenance, machine troubleshooting, and project support. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire position with a pay rate of $16.50 per hour.

Shifts and Schedules: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm

Production Wrapper Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare and set-up machinery and line daily prior to production.
• Check vacuum seal, cut off, fin seal, and registration.
• Perform metal detector checks, code date checks, documented every 15 minutes.
• Check code dates for the proper dates and reload ink film as needed.
• Immediately report food safety and quality hazards to supervisors.

Skills and Qualifications

• Signoff and understanding of all GMP standards.
• Lift up to 45 lbs maximum (an office assessment will be conducted).
• Work in hot environments and lots of walking.
• Prior production or food experience is a plus.
• Background check and drug screen required.
