Volt is hiring an 1st Shift Aircraft Assembly Technician I in Colorado Springs, CO. Join a leading aerospace manufacturer assembling aircraft seating systems used on commercial, business, and military aircraft.

If you're mechanically inclined, this is your opportunity to launch your aerospace career from day one. As a 1st shift technician, you will assemble seating components, use hand and power tools, read blueprints, and ensure parts meet quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools.
• Ability to read blueprints with guidance.
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per day.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assemble aircraft seating components and subassemblies according to work instructions and blueprints.
• Use hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and assembly equipment.
• Inspect parts for proper fit and quality.
• Gather materials and components needed for production.
• Package finished products as required.
• Participate in team meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Follow all safety, quality, and workplace procedures.
• Work overtime as needed to support production schedules.

Required Qualifications

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Previous assembly or manufacturing experience.
• Experience with aerospace, automotive, or mechanical assembly.
• Familiarity with aircraft fasteners, rivets, bolts, and hardware.
• Experience reading blueprints or technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.

Pay & Benefits

$19.50 per hour 1st Shift 6:00am-2:30pm M-F *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
