Production Workers - 1st Shift or 2nd Shift

Summary: Performs various, unskilled production labor duties at any/all Foods locations as assigned by Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Works at assigned work station or other work stations with equivalent job requirements as production needs require and as assigned by supervisor.
• Fills in for other production employees with lesser or equivalent job requirements due to absences, vacations, production needs, etc.

Education and Experience

No prior experience or training.

Language Skills

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
• Occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision and depth perception.

Work Environment

• Regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles and extreme cold.
• Occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions and extreme heat.
• Noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
