Job summary

Link Snacks in Wisconsin is hiring for a 2nd shift production associate. You will wear PPE, cut and package meat products, and move finished pallets through the line on a fast-paced production floor. Reliability, willingness to work Saturdays, and a commitment to GMP/HACCP/OSHA standards are essential.

Starting wage is $17 per hour, with base pay as part of Link Snacks Total Rewards including health benefits, paid holidays, 401k participation, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three to six months experience in a production facility, preferred.
• Wears required PPE (hair/beard net, frock, slip-resistant shoes, gloves, apron, and sleeves) per GMP.

Responsibilities

• Wears PPE per GMP guidelines.
• Reports to the assigned line at shift start.
• Removes products from cooler/warehouse.
• Cuts product with cheese slicer, de-linker, stick cutter, or scissors.
• Packages product into unit packaging.
• Applies stickers by hand to packages.
• Puts product in a bag, caddy, or case on a pallet.
• Moves finished pallet with pallet jack to warehouse.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Description

2nd Shift Hours are 3:15 p.m. - 12 a.m. Monday - Friday

Starting Wage $17/hr.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Wears required personal protective equipment PPE which includes hair/beard net, frock, slip-resistant shoes, gloves, apron, and sleeves in accordance with GMP guidelines.
• Reports to the assigned line at the start of the shift ready to work.
• Removes products from cooler or warehouse.
• Cuts product with cheese slicing machine, de-linker, stick cutter, or scissors.
• Places product into unit packaging.
• May apply stickers by hand to packages.
• Places product in a bag, caddy, or case and puts on a pallet.
• Moves finished pallet with pallet jack into the warehouse.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Is punctual, dependable, and able to show up for work as scheduled
• Able to work Saturdays as necessary
• Able to work safely and abide by GMP, HACCP, and OSHA
• Able to maintain good personal hygiene

Additional Information

The pay range for this role is$17(Hourly). Actual wage will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, and candidate skill set and experience. Base pay is just one component of Link Snacks Total Rewards package for Team Members. Other rewards may include annual incentive and program-specific awards.
