Job summary

Link Snacks is seeking a team member for the 2nd shift from 3:15 p.m. to 12 a.m., Monday through Friday, in Wisconsin. The starting wage is $17 per hour, with full benefits under the company Total Rewards package.

The role requires wearing PPE and adherence to GMP/HACCP/OSHA standards, and includes lifting up to 50 pounds in a fast-paced production setting. Typical duties include handling product from cooler, slicing, packaging, labeling, palletizing, and collaborating with team members to meet

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Three to six months experience in a production facility, preferred.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds as described in the physical demands.

Responsibilities

  • Wear PPE per GMP guidelines.
  • Report to the assigned line at shift start.
  • Remove products from cooler or warehouse.
  • Cut product with cheese slicing machine, de-linker, stick cutter, or scissors.
  • Package products.
  • Apply stickers by hand to packages.
  • Place product in a bag, caddy, or case and palletize.
  • Move finished pallet with pallet jack to warehouse.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

2nd Shift Hours are 3:15 p.m. - 12 a.m. Monday - Friday
Starting Wage $17/hr.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
  • Wears required personal protective equipment PPE which includes hair/beard net, frock, slip-resistant shoes, gloves, apron, and sleeves in accordance with GMP guidelines.
  • Reports to the assigned line at the start of the shift ready to work.
  • Removes products from cooler or warehouse.
  • Cuts product with cheese slicing machine, de-linker, stick cutter, or scissors.
  • Places product into unit packaging.
  • May apply stickers by hand to packages.
  • Places product in a bag, caddy, or case and puts on a pallet.
  • Moves finished pallet with pallet jack into the warehouse.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
  • Is punctual, dependable, and able to show up for work as scheduled

Additional Information

The pay range for this role is $17 (Hourly). Actual wage will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, and candidate skill set and experience. Base pay is just one component of Link Snacks Total Rewards package for Team Members. Other rewards may include annual incentive and program-specific awards. WORK ENVIRONMENT

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The work environment is a plant / office setting with varying degrees of temperatures and noise levels. Exposure to manufacturing equipment movement and wet / slippery floors. Travel may be required.
