Job summary

Link Snacks in Wisconsin is seeking additional team members for 2nd shift production. You will work on the line, wear required PPE, and perform packaging and related tasks in a fast-paced plant setting.

The position offers a starting wage of $17 per hour, with benefits outlined in the company’s total rewards package, and requires reliability, teamwork, and the ability to follow directions in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

  • Punctual, dependable and able to show up as scheduled.
  • Able to work Saturdays as necessary.
  • Work safely and abide by GMP, HACCP, and OSHA.
  • Maintain good personal hygiene.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Be flexible and responsive to changing production needs.
  • Take instructions and follow directions.

  • Basic mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Wears required PPE including hair/beard net, frock, slip-resistant shoes, gloves, apron, and sleeves.
  • Reports to the assigned line at the start of the shift ready to work.
  • Removes products from cooler or warehouse.
  • Cuts product with cheese slicing machine, de-linker, stick cutter, or scissors.
  • Places product into unit packaging.
  • May apply stickers by hand to packages.
  • Places product in a bag, caddy, or case and puts on a pallet.
  • Moves finished pallet with pallet jack into the warehouse.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Description

2nd Shift Hours are 3:15 p.m. - 12 a.m. Monday - Friday

Starting Wage $17/hr.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
  • Wears required personal protective equipment PPE which includes hair/beard net, frock, slip-resistant shoes, gloves, apron, and sleeves in accordance with GMP guidelines.
  • Reports to the assigned line at the start of the shift ready to work.
  • Removes products from cooler or warehouse.
  • Cuts product with cheese slicing machine, de-linker, stick cutter, or scissors.
  • Places product into unit packaging.
  • May apply stickers by hand to packages.
  • Places product in a bag, caddy, or case and puts on a pallet.
  • Moves finished pallet with pallet jack into the warehouse.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
  • Is punctual, dependable, and able to show up for work as scheduled

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Three to six months experience in a production facility, preferred.
Additional Information

The pay range for this role is $17 (Hourly). Actual wage will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, and candidate skill set and experience. Base pay is just one component of Jack Link’s Total Rewards package for Team Members. Other rewards may include annual incentive and program-specific awards. Jack Link’s provides a variety of benefits to eligible Team Members, including medical, dental and vision benefits, life and disability insurance, 401k participation, paid holidays, and paid time off.
