Job summary

Champion Home Builders on the Burleson, TX production line seeks a reliable team member to build manufactured housing and perform quality work in a fast-paced environment.

You will read blueprints, use hand and power tools, measure with a tape, and work with a team to ensure safety and accuracy while maintaining clean work areas.

Qualifications

• Must have strong work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to work quickly and methodically.
• Understanding of safety procedures in a production setting.
• Good teamwork and communication with coworkers.
• Experience with basic construction is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual labor on the production line to build manufactured housing.
• Read blueprints and orders to guide assembly.
• Use hand tools, air tools, and electrical tools safely.
• Read and use a tape measure for precise measurements.
• Keep the work area clean and organized while working with a team.

Summary

Under General supervision, work on the production line to build manufactured housing, as part of a team, and perform quality work at a fast moving and consistent manner.

• Performs all manual labor in the area to which assigned.
• Work with a team to build roofs in a production setting.
• Keeps area neat and clean.
• Read and use a tape measure.
• Read blueprints and orders.
• Communicate well with coworkers.
• Use hand tools, air tools, and electrical tools.

Competencies

• Must have a strong work ethic.

Qualifications

• Less than high school education; or up to six-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous experience in manufacturing/modular housing desired.
• Must have general construction experience and knowledge.
