ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

- Follow all Plant Safety Rules and Regulations
- Utilize proper PPE at all times

- Responsible for producing continuous quality parts and ensuring all quality procedures are followed
- Compliance with ISO 9001 standards
- Complete manufacturing and quality documentation
- Communicate internally regarding deviations or general requests
- Assist in 6S and lean manufacturing practices
- Environmental
- Verify compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Complete necessary reports internally
- Primary Production Responsibilities
- Operate machines and equipment independently to produce parts within required tolerances
- Read and understand customer specification sheets; anticipate subsequent orders and prepare supplies/products accordingly
- Install components such as plugs, capseals, rings, and other specified parts
- Use hand tools safely and efficiently to maintain production flow
- Demonstrate competence across all plant areas during general labor rotation
- Report product, material, or safety concerns immediately to supervisors
- Utilize company systems for reporting production, scrap, and inventory data
- Follow instructions to produce the required quantities
OTHER DUTIES
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Attend all required meetings and training sessions
- Perform additional duties as requested
QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Experience, and Training
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in industrial manufacturing preferred
Skills
- Problem-solving: Demonstrate innovation and problem-solving skills to improve efficiency and productivity
- Verbal Communication: Effectively transfer information to operators, maintenance, and management
- Written Communication: Complete reports legibly for production, quality, and inventory
- Math Skills: Addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, ratios
- Computer Skills: Use internal manufacturing systems
Physical Demands
- Lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- Stand, kneel, stoop, and walk for entire shift
- Good hand/eye/foot coordination required
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts, loud environments, fumes, airborne particles, and weather conditions
- Vision corrected to 20/20; normal hearing
- Work in non-climate-controlled environments
Personal Protective Equipment
- Steel or composite-toed boots
- Safety glasses
- Gloves (latex, work gloves, etc.)
- Hearing protection
- Cut-resistant sleeves
- Properly fitted clothing
- Hard hat in designated areas
