Job summary

Sonoco in Stockton, CA is seeking a Production Worker for the 2nd shift (3:30pm - 12:00am, Mon-Fri; overtime as needed). Wage is $20.57/hr with a $0.40 shift premium for 2nd shift.

You will safely operate production equipment, support different areas of the manufacturing process, and help meet plant goals while prioritizing safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Physical ability to perform production tasks following SOPs.
• Comfort with manual material handling and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to listen, follow verbal instructions and work with the team.

Position: Production Worker

Reporting directly to the Shift Supervisor, as a Production Worker, you will be responsible for the safe operation of production equipment using standard operating procedures. Responsibilities include aiding in various areas of our manufacturing process as directed. Strive to meet plant goals and customer requirements. Safety is the top priority of every employee.

What you will be doing:

• Catch, bundle and stack partitions.
• Catch strips and feed hoppers properly.
• Determines bad partitions and separate from quality product.
