Job summary

Sonoco is seeking a Production Worker in Merced, CA. Training begins on the first shift for about a month, then move to second shift (3:30pm–12:00am, Monday–Friday; overtime and Saturdays may be required). Wage starts at $22.96 per hour plus a $0.40 shift premium for second shift.

Safety is the top priority and you will operate production equipment following SOPs. Responsibilities include aiding in various stages of the manufacturing process, meeting plant goals and customer requirements, and

Job description

Location: Merced, CA Position: Production Worker Shift: 2nd- 3:30pm - 12:00am Monday-Friday overtime and Saturdays may be required.

Reporting directly to the Shift Supervisor, as a Production Worker, you will be responsible for the safe operation of production equipment using standard operating procedures. Responsibilities include aiding in various areas of our manufacturing process as directed. Strive to meet plant goals and customer requirements. Safety is the top priority of every employee.

What you will be doing:

• Catch, bundle and stack partitions.
