Job summary

Smurfit Westrock plc is seeking a reliable 3rd shift Manufacturing Associate to support corrugated box production. You will learn and follow safety procedures, perform quality checks, set up materials and equipment, and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

The role requires ability to read a tape measure, basic math and computer skills, and willingness to work overtime, weekends, and various shifts. Starting pay is $20.89 per hour with comprehensive benefits.

Primary duties include:

Safely performing a wide range of tasks supporting the manufacturing of corrugated boxes, conducting quality checks, material set-up, machine set-up and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to working safely, a demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a strong desire to learn manufacturing processes and operate complex machinery.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Operating manufacturing equipment/powered equipment safely and follow specific directions
• Maintaining a clean work environment
• Ability to read a tape measure and have basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to work safely and comply with all safety regulations.
• Ability to push, pull, bend, squat, life, reach, kneel, and stand for up to 12 hrs. per day.
• Must be able to push, pull or lift up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis.
• Required to work daily overtime, weekend work and various shifts depending on workload.
• Must be willing to work any available shift.
• Manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
• Other duties as assigned

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Available Shift(s): 3 rd Shift (training on day shift until qualified in your role)

Starting Pay: $20.89/hr
