Job summary

Sonoco Products Company in Woodland, WA is seeking a Production Worker for day shift (Mon–Fri) with pay of $26.02/hr. You will assist machine operators, operate small equipment, and handle tubes, labeling, loading, and packing tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

  • Must be reliable, have good initiative, and be committed to safety and quality.
  • Previous forklift experience is beneficial.
  • Experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
  • You can lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
  • Ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions.
  • Ability to perform repetitive duties and stand for long periods.
  • Must work quickly while maintaining craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently assist machine tenders or others with the physical requirements of the operations.
  • Operate small hand-type or less complicated equipment.
  • Remove tubes from overhead dryer chain conveyor.
  • Load tubes on trucks and label them properly.
  • Place scrap on carts to be hauled away.
  • Inspect and pack tubes.
  • Perform other essential duties as assigned.

Production Worker - Woodland, WA

Location: Sonoco Products Company 1620 Downriver Drive Woodland, WA 98674

Pay: $26.02/hr

Shift: Day shift Monday - Friday (8 - 10 hours per day, shift times TBD)

While reporting to the production supervisor, you will be responsible for but not limited to working safely, attention to quality, supporting the machine operators by packaging product, driving fork truck, recycling cores and paper scrap, training for and filling in for machine operators. Excellent attendance is crucial for the team to achieve success.

What you will be doing
