Job summary

Sonoco in Temple, GA is hiring an Assembler I to support the new reel assembly line. You'll work 1st shift, focusing on quick, safe production and adapting to workflow changes.

You will collaborate across departments, troubleshoot issues, and uphold quality and safety standards. Strong attendance and a proactive, get-it-done attitude are essential. This role offers competitive pay and benefits after eligibility, with growth opportunities at a global packaging leader.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in warehousing is helpful.

  • Stand for long periods and perform repetitious duties.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating closely with other departments and teams.

Position: Assembler I

Location: Temple, GA

Pay Rate: $19.18

Shift: 1st (7:30A-4P)

Responsibilities:

Requirements:

  • You have to have a 'get it done' attitude and an urgency to resolve problems/tasks.
  • Working independently and managing multiple tasks simultaneously is needed.
  • You need to have working knowledge of our products and their quality requirements.
  • Being reliable, having good initiative, being committed, and being quality focused is a must.
  • You will need to be able to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
  • Having the ability to effectively work with a team in a fast-paced environment is crucial to success.
  • You will need to have the ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions.
  • You will need to be able to perform repetitious duties, including standing for long periods of time.
  • You will need to have the ability to work quickly while maintaining a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail.
