Job summary

Lyons Magnus in Westlake, OH is seeking a Production Worker to measure ingredients, operate and set up production equipment, bottle or can finish goods, and document lot codes and quality checks. A member of the Production Department, a food service division at Lyons Magnus, an international food and beverage manufacturer headquartered in Fresno, California. The Production Worker is responsible for measuring ingredients, operating and setting up production equipment, bottling or canning finished goods, and accurately documenting lot codes, quality checks, and cleaning activities. The position requires strict adherence to food safety, GMP, and SQF guidelines, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and active participation in safety programs. Additional duties may be assigned as needed. This position reports to the Production Manager.

Pay Range: $20.00 per hour

Hours:

• 1st Shift: 5:00am - 3:00 pm
• 2nd Shift: 2:00pm - 12:00am

Schedule: Monday - Friday + occasional Saturdays

(Must be willing to work OT and Weekends)

Additional information:

This is an in-house temporary position aligned with a temp-to-hire process. While a permanent role may become available, conversion is not guaranteed and will depend on business needs, performance, and attendance. Benefits eligibility begins after 90 days.

Core Responsibilities:

• Measure/prep ingredients as directed in the recipe.
• Cook or blend product specifications as required on the recipe.
• Document all lot code and quality checks using RedZone and Microsoft Dynamics AX (DAX)
• Set up equipment (fillers, cappers, kettles, pumps, piping, etc.) & run assembly lines.
• Bottle/can finish goods to product specification.
• Ensure food safety throughout the facility (GMP’s) as per SQF guidelines.
• Cleaning of the facility inside and the grounds outside.
• Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment as per SQF guidelines.
• Perform tasks as required to comply with the master sanitation plan for the facility including operating the facility floor scrubber, foaming equipment and/or walls, mopping, or other cleaning duties.
• Maintain workspace in a clean and organized manner.
• Documentation of cleaning results and issues that may arise.
• Other functions and duties necessary by direction of management

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Active participation in the LME safety program.
• Abides by all internal policies. This includes GMP, attendance, productivity etc.
• Completes job related training in the timeframe allotted.
• Maintains a high level of productivity in complying with the position requirements.
• Documentation is up to date and accurate.
• Work is finished timely, and results meet or exceed the manager’s expectations

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to follow directions
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Detail oriented with the ability to maintain accurate documentation.
• Flexible work schedule and MUST be able to work weekends and some holidays. (Schedule may change at any time, upon management discretion)
• Strict adherence to the attendance Lyons Magnus attendance policy.
