Job summary

Lyons Magnus, LLC in Westlake, OH, is seeking a Processing Operator to batch and cook syrups, sauces, and toppings and operate the filler within a manufacturing facility.

You will verify BRIX and pH, monitor temperatures, run equipment, and ensure GMP and SQF compliance. Candidates should understand English recipes, have a HS diploma, and be able to work 1:45pm–12:00am, Monday through Friday with some Saturdays.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare and measure ingredients according to recipes in RedZone.
• Cook or blend products to specifications as outlined in the recipe.
• Verify BRIX and pH levels to meet recipe requirements.
• Monitor and verify temperatures during cooking.
• Set up and operate equipment (fillers, cappers, kettles) on assembly lines.
• Package finished goods according to product specs.
• Record lot codes and quality checks using RedZone and DAX.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Follow food safety requirements and SQF guidelines.

A member of the Production Department, a food service division at Lyons Magnus, an international food and beverage manufacturer headquartered in Fresno, California.

Processing Operator is responsible for batching/cooking syrups, sauces, & toppings and operating the filler. Additional duties may be assigned as needed. This position reports to the Production Lead.

Pay: $21.00 per hour + shift differential

Hours: 1:45pm - 12:00am

Schedule: Monday - Friday + occasional Saturdays

(Must be willing to work OT and Weekends)

Core Responsibilities

• Prepare and measure ingredients according to recipes in RedZone.
• Cook or blend products to specifications as outlined in the recipe.

• Set up and operate equipment, including fillers, cappers, kettles, pumps, and piping, to run assembly lines.
• Package finished goods in bottles or cans according to product specifications.
• Record lot codes and quality checks using RedZone and Microsoft Dynamics AX (DAX).
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Follow food safety requirements, including GMPs and SQF guidelines, throughout the facility.
• Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment in accordance with SQF guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
