Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Production Worker for a contract position based in Westfield, MA. You will float between tasks, building pallets, organizing the warehouse, inspecting products, tracking data, and delivering materials to operators on the floor.

The role is onsite with a two-week training shift from 6:30am to 2:30pm, followed by a 6:30am to 4:30pm schedule Monday through Thursday. Pay is $23.00 per hour with weekly pay and benefits available.

Job Title: Production Worker

Job Description

In this role, you will serve as a floater, assisting the manufacturing floor as needed. The facility specializes in producing high-performance building materials such as siding, trim, and shingles, which are known for their durability. Your daily tasks will vary and may include building and rebuilding wooden pallets using power tools, organizing and cleaning the warehouse and production floor, picking up debris like nails and wood, performing visual inspections of products to ensure quality, using a computer to track data, and assisting operators by delivering the correct materials to them.

Work Environment

The work environment is typical of a manufacturing setting, comparable to a toll brothers facility. Training shift for the first two weeks will be from 6:30am to 2:30pm, Monday to Friday. After the initial training period, the schedule will change to Monday through Thursday from 6:30am to 4:30pm.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
