Description

Production Worker

This role blends responsibilities across electronic assembly and machine operation. The ideal candidate will be cross trained in multiple areas, including assembly and metal fabrication. If you have a keen eye for detail, strong hand-eye coordination, and proficiency in operating various equipment, we encourage you to apply.

Electronic Assembly Responsibilities:
  • Install through-hole components, subassemblies, wiring, rivets, nuts/bolts, and perform lead-free soldering.
  • Participate in tasks such as potting, sanding, de-panelizing PCBs, cleaning, epoxy bonding, curing, color-coding, and serializing.
  • Use precision measuring tools and magnification devices to ensure assemblies meet production specs.
  • Follow sequential assembly instructions, including visual drawings, written instructions, photographs, or mechanical samples, independently.
  • Identify and work with standard electronic components, such as transformers, resistors, capacitors, transistors, connectors, terminal blocks, integrated circuits, pins, jumpers, and wires.
  • Produce repetitive hand-soldered joints with proper flow using various solder types.
  • Set up workstations for the assembly process and handle materials independently.
  • Adhere to safety instructions and practices diligently.
Machine Operation Responsibilities:
  • Read blueprints to determine measurements and specifications for product fabrication.
  • Operate machines such as Press Brake, Heager 412 Press, Powder Coating equipment, Sand & Debur, and Punch Press.
  • Prepare, set up, and adjust press brake as required by product plans and production schedules.
  • Utilize precision measuring tools to ensure metal fabrication meets production specs.
  • Program machines to fit design specifications.
  • Measure final products to ensure uniformity and adherence to specifications.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Experience soldering through-hole and/or surface mount electronic components using lead-free solder.
  • Basic computer skills sufficient to access and navigate network-based assembly instructions.
Physical demands while performing the job:
  • Sitting, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, kneeling, or bending to the floor; reaching with hands and arms; and talking and/or hearing instructions.
  • Eye/Hand coordination constant welding and cutting. Occasionally Forming, swaging, and inspection.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
Working environment of the job:
  • High noise levels while working near operating machines.
  • Physical hazards while working near moving equipment and mechanical parts.
  • Must follow personal protective equipment guidelines in all work areas.
  • Must wear appropriate footwear: Shoes that cover toes and sides of feet.

  • You’ll work in person at our Prescott, AZ facility.
