Job description

Location: West Chester, OH
Pay Rate: $23.66/hr. - $0.75 shift differential for 2nd & 3rd
Shift: 2nd & 3rd
2nd shift: 2:45pm-11pm
3rd shift: 10:45pm-7am

While reporting to the Shift Supervisor , as the Packer/Production Worker/Laborer, you will be responsible for collaborating and contributing to the production environment within our manufacturing operations. S afety, quality, productivity and strong work ethic are important to the Sonoco culture.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Collaborating closely with departments and plant teams to complete basic manufacturing

  • Packs product into boxes, retrieves product from equipment and operates machinery

  • Making incremental process adjustments, monitor and report quality of manufactured products

  • Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills to setup new production jobs

  • Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area

  • Assists other departments as needed
