Position: Production Associate

Location: Munroe Falls, OH

Pay: $22.15/hr

Shift: 1st shift

**MUST BE WILLING TO WORK OVERTIME IF NEEDED**

Job Responsibilities:

1. Work in production for our tube and core division, ensuring quick and safe operations.
2. Maintain excellent attendance to support team success.
3. Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with various teams.
4. Identify and spot defects in the packing line, applying attention to detail.
5. Perform incremental process adjustments, monitor product quality, and report findings.
6. Assist in setting up new jobs, training on other lines and departments.
7. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
8. Support Sonoco's quality and safety policies and perform duties as assigned by supervisors.
9. Assist other departments as needed, including cleaning and straightening during downtime.

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate a forklift safely (certification preferred).
• Reliable, proactive, and committed with a focus on quality.
• Ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks, including standing for long periods and climbing stairs.
• Strong team collaboration skills in a fast-paced setting.
• Must have a "get it done" attitude and sense of urgency.
