Job summary

Steel of West Virginia, Inc. in Huntington, WV is hiring entry-level Production Workers to join finishing lines that process structural beams and shapes to customer specs.

Starting pay is $21.49 per hour with double-time on the seventh day, and the rate increases to $26.86 at 18 months per the current union contract. Benefits include competitive pay, incentive bonuses, profit sharing twice a year, and 401(k) contributions.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Be drug free.
• Clear understanding and adherence to safety regulations.
• Ability to work in all types of weather conditions.
• Ability to stand/work for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more repetitively on a regular basis.
• Must be self-motivated team player, anxious and willing to learn new skills.

Steel of West Virginia, Inc., a subsidiary of Steel Dynamics, Inc. operates a steel mill located in Huntington, WV and adjacent to Marshall University.

We are growing and have openings for Production Workers.

The Production Worker Entry Level Pay is $21.49 per hour. Double-time is paid on seventh consecutive day worked. Rate increases every six months until full rate ($26.86) is reached at 18 month anniversary (per current union contract).

Production Workers at our finishing lines then custom finish structural beams, channels, and special shape steel sections to customer specifications.
