Job summary

Cambria in Indiana is seeking a Production Worker to support daily production and warehouse operations by operating equipment, staging materials, and maintaining inventory accuracy. You will work across slab handling, inspection, material staging, and production line support while following safety and quality procedures.

The role requires basic math, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to use measuring tools and ERP systems.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous warehouse, manufacturing, or industrial experience preferred.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
  • Mechanically inclined.
  • Experience using measuring equipment.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office or ERP systems.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor production equipment to ensure proper operation and product quality.
  • Sort, stage, inspect, and move slabs/materials to appropriate production or storage locations.
  • Operate overhead cranes and forklifts safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure materials and slabs are scanned and documented correctly within the ERP/computer system.
  • Perform quality inspections and accurately document production and quality data.
  • Complete shift logs, inventory counts, and related production documentation.
  • Crosstrain and assist in multiple production and warehouse areas as needed.
  • Follow all Production and Warehouse SOPs and wear required PPE.

This role works across multiple areas of the production process, including slab handling, inspection, material staging, and production line support, while following all safety and quality procedures.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesOperate and monitor production equipment to ensure proper operation and product qualitySort, stage, inspect, and move slabs/materials to appropriate production or storage locationsOperate overhead cranes and forklifts safely and efficientlyEnsure materials and slabs are scanned and documented correctly within the ERP/computer systemPerform quality inspections and accurately document production and quality dataComplete shift logs, inventory counts, and related production documentationInspect forklifts and overhead cranes daily and complete required safety inspectionsMaintain communication with supervisors and team members regarding production issues, material defects, inventory levels, and equipment concernsCrosstrain and assist in multiple production and warehouse areas as neededPerform Lockout/Tagout procedures before cleaning or servicing equipmentHandle chemicals safely and according to company proceduresKeep work areas clean, organized, and safe at all timesFollow all Production and Warehouse Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Conduct all duties in a safe and responsible manner while wearing required PPEPerform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by managementPreferred QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED preferredPrevious warehouse, manufacturing, or industrial experience preferredBasic math skillsCritical thinking and troubleshooting skillsMechanically inclinedExperience using measuring equipmentFamiliarity with Microsoft Office or ERP systems preferredPhysical RequirementsLift up to 50–60 lbs.Push/pull up to 100 lbs.Stand for extended periods of time, up to 12-hour shifts with intermittent breaksFrequently bend, walk, climb steps, and move throughout the facilityOccasionally climb in and out of equipment for cleaning and maintenance dutiesWork in non-climate-controlled environments and varying weather conditionsWear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)Participate in daily stretch and flex exercisesRequired Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)Steel-toed bootsHearing protectionSafety glassesCut-resistant glovesLatex glovesFace shield (as required)High visibility vest (as required)Respirator (as required)Cambria’s starting hourly range for this position is $18.00-$23.00. Hourly ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hires for the position.
