Job summary

Crown Holdings, Inc. in Faribault, MN is seeking a production associate to join our manufacturing team. You will support the can production line, assist with frame and chipboard handling, and help maintain quality on the floor.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have mathematical and writing skills.
• Must be in good physical condition.
• Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Refill pistons, ensure boxes holding pistons are broken down and ready.
• Refill hoppers with frames and chipboard.
• Perform quality inspections for scratches, dents, dirt, grease or mis-assembly.
• Label pallets and operate control panels for can layers.
• Refill banding spools and apply stretch wrap as needed.
• General cleanup and maintenance in the work area.

Position Overview

To follow the S.O.P’s, safety rules, safety training and practice all Safe Start principles.

Duties

• Semer Feed – refill pistons, make sure boxes holding pistons are broken down
• Refill hoppers with frames and chipboard
• Perform quality inspections. Observe scratches, dents, dirt, grease, mis-assembly or broken chunks
• Label pallets
• Operate a control panel and manual handle to advance layers of cans
• Refill banding spools and stretch wrap as needed
• General clean-up and maintenance in area

• Must be in good physical condition
• Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
