Job summary

Smurfit Westrock in Fargo, ND is hiring a Production Worker on the 3rd shift. Training will be on 1st shift, with starting wage range of $25.83 per hour and potential increases to $29.98.

You will support corrugated box manufacturing, perform quality checks, operate machinery safely, read tape measures, and lift up to 50 lbs, with overtime and weekend work as needed. Comprehensive benefits and a production bonus program Day 1 eligibility.

Primary duties include:

Safely performing a wide range of tasks supporting the manufacturing of corrugated boxes, conducting quality checks, material set-up, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to working safely, a demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment, a strong desire to learn manufacturing processes and operating complex machinery and have a desire to advance within the company. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Operating various machines/equipment safely and following specific directions
• Maintaining a clean work environment
• Ability to read a tape measure and have basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to work safely and comply with all safety regulations.
• Ability to push, pull, bend, squat, lift, reach, kneel, and stand for up to 12 hrs a day.
• Must be able to push, pull or lift up to 50 lbs on a frequent basis.
• Required to work daily overtime, weekend work and various shifts depending on workload.
• Other duties as assigned
