Job summary

Wasatch Labs is seeking personnel for manufacturing operations in Draper, Utah. The role involves performing ingredient measurements, packaging, and line handling in a GMP environment.

You will ensure product integrity, maintain cleanliness, and support line readiness with proper attire and safety protocols. The position emphasizes attention to quality, adherence to procedures, and teamwork on a busy production line.

Responsibilities

  • Measure, weigh, and count products and materials.
  • Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products to ensure packing specifications are met.
  • Assemble, line, and pad cartons, crates, and containers with hand tools.
  • Move materials for completed products to established locations and operate or assist with conveyors.
  • Maintain GMP compliance and keep the work area clean and safe.
  • Handle and dispose of packaging waste and maintain recycling procedures.
  • Perform routine line cleanings and ensure proper components and labels are used.

Company:Wasatch LabsPosition Summary:Under limited supervision, Participates in the development and implementation of unit policies and procedures. Prepares operational analyses and reports to the Line Lead and follows current procedures to monitor and improve the efficiency of operations. Employees must complete required hand-repetitive motions to meet Company expectations.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Measure, weigh, and count products and materials.Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products to ensure that packing specifications are met.Remove completed or defective products or materials, placing them on moving equipment such as conveyors or in specified areas such as loading docks.Ensure all materials and products are properly closed to prevent leaking and meet required specifications.Assemble, line, and pad cartons, crates, and containers, using hand tools.Clean containers, materials, supplies, or work areas, using cleaning solutions and hand tools.Place or pour products or materials into containers, using hand tools and equipment, or fill containers from spouts or chutes.Cannot give a product from the line to others.Ensure proper GMP is being followed - maintain clean area in production.Responsible for coming to line prepared with proper GMP attire.Produce quality products - no mindless hand-moving.Move materials for completed products and packages to established locations.Utilize machinery in the best and proper way.Break down unused components (cardboard - place in blue bin for recyclingResponsible for cleaning the line after the run.Bi-weekly cleaningsWork inside the filling room with proper GMP attireMake Sure proper components are being used (including Master Shipper Labels)Perform squeeze on test tubes to ensure the product is not leaking and meets the required specifications.Physical Demands and Work EnvironmentThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
