Job summary

Wasatch Labs is seeking a hands-on packaging-line associate to support daily production. Under supervision, you will measure, weigh, and prepare materials, inspect containers, and assemble cartons while maintaining GMP-compliant practices.

You will help keep the line clean, move materials, use hand tools, monitor quality, and participate in bi-weekly cleanings. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment with attention to safety and process

Responsibilities

  • Measure, weigh, and count products and materials.
  • Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products to ensure packing specifications are met.
  • Remove completed or defective products or materials, placing them on moving equipment or loading docks.
  • Ensure all materials and products are properly closed to prevent leaking and meet specifications.
  • Assemble, line, and pad cartons, crates, and containers using hand tools.
  • Clean containers, materials, supplies, or work areas.
  • Place or pour products into containers using hand tools and equipment.
  • Maintain GMP attire and cleanliness in the line.
  • Move materials for completed products to established locations.
  • Break down unused components and recycle cardboard.
  • Perform squeeze-on tests to ensure product integrity.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Measure, weigh, and count products and materials.
  • Examine and inspect containers, materials, and productstoensure that packing specifications are met.
  • Remove completed or defective products or materials, placing them on moving equipment such as conveyors or in specified areas such as loading docks.
  • Ensureall materials and products are properlyclosedto prevent leaking and meet required specifications.
  • Assemble, line, and pad cartons, crates, and containers, using hand tools.
  • Clean containers, materials, supplies, or work areas, using cleaning solutions and hand tools.
  • Place or pour products or materials into containers, using hand tools and equipment, or fill containers from spouts or chutes.
  • Cannot giveaproduct fromtheline to others.
  • Ensure proper GMP is being followed -maintainclean area in production.
  • Responsible for coming to line prepared with proper GMP attire.
  • Produce qualityproducts- no mindlesshand-moving.
  • Move materials for completed products and packages toestablishedlocations.
  • Utilize machinery inthebest andproperway.
  • Break down unused components (cardboard- place in blue bin for recycling
  • Responsible for cleaningtheline aftertherun.
  • Bi-weekly cleanings
  • Work inside the filling room with proper GMP attire
  • Make Sure proper components are being used (including Master Shipper Labels)
  • Performsqueezeontest tubes to ensurethe product is not leaking and meets the required specifications.
