Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Production Associate for a manufacturing leader in Cookeville, TN. You will position parts and sub-assemblies, assemble components, and inspect for defects, ensuring quality across multiple processes and machines.

This role requires standing 8 hours, lifting up to 25 lbs, and being able to work 19 consecutive days on 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift (7am–3pm, 3pm–11pm, 11pm–7am). Pay is $16 per hour with double time on Sundays in a climate-controlled environment.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
• Basic ability to read blueprints.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to observe machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunctions.
• Must be able to stand for 8 hours and lift up to 25lbs
• Willingness to work up to 19 days straight.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have previous manufacturing experience, strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

All candidates must be able to be assigned to work any shift and work 19 days straight.
