Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking an Assembly Technician in Gordonsville, TN to join a manufacturing team. The role involves assembling driveshafts, operating various machinery safely, and preparing equipment for production.

Training starts on the 1st shift with positions available across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts. Ideal candidates will be able to read and follow written processes, use measuring tools, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform basic mathematical functions for SPC measurements.
• Capable of reading and understanding written processes and safety procedures.
• Experience using measuring tools and interpreting metric measurements.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks.
• Willingness to work overtime/weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble driveshafts and perform all phases of assembly.

Job Title: Assembly Technician

Location: Gordonsville, TN

Pay Range: $16.50-$17.05

Shift: 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift (Must be available to train on 1st shift first week)

• Perform all phases of work involved in the assembly of driveshafts
• Operate various machinery and tools safely, following standardized work instructions to ensure quality output.
• Prepare equipment and supplies necessary for operations.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities within a team environment.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety protocols.

What's Needed?

• Ability to perform basic mathematical functions for statistical process control measurements.
• Capability to read and understand written processes and safety procedures.
• Experience in using measuring tools and interpreting metric measurements.
• Physical ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as required.
