Job Summary

This position includes: Stacker, Sheet loader, Bander, Unloader, Middleman, Samples, Oxides, Hand Specials.

Pay rate: $19.19 per hour

Essential Functions

1. Comply with Westlake Safety Policies and Procedures
2. Follow Boral attendance policy and production requirements
3. Perform stacking tasks, including removing tiles from the production line, inspecting, and stacking onto pallets for shipping
4. Ensure production is banded correctly and prepare stacking tables
5. Unload molds from racks onto process belts for packaging
6. Assist as a Middleman to optimize line efficiency and operate forklifts as needed
7. Select, label, and package tiles/materials for customer samples, with knowledge of color blends
8. Prepare small bags of oxides for samples
9. Produce hand-made specials with attention to quality and quantity

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

1. Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals, and procedures
2. Manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude
3. Good communication skills; bilingual in English and Spanish helpful
4. Ability to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions
5. Quick learner, able to work independently
6. Math and computer skills
7. Attention to detail

Education and Experience

1. High School Diploma or equivalent; relevant training or certification
2. 1-2 years of relevant experience

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

Must be able to:

• Work around noise, extreme temperatures, and dust
• Stand for long periods and perform repetitive movements
• Bend, twist, and lift/move items up to 50 pounds
• Move around the facility and wear PPE
