Job summary

Monarch Precast Concrete in Allentown, PA is seeking an experienced Precast Production Welder with MIG welding expertise to support reinforcement cage fabrication for precast concrete structures. You will read shop drawings and weld rebar from #3 through #8 to exact specifications.

The role offers Monday–Friday, year-round work, with a starting wage of $23–$25 per hour based on experience. A casual, team-oriented environment supports safety and professional growth.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of MIG welding experience in the precast concrete industry.
• Ability to read and follow shop drawings for reinforcement cages.
• Experience with welding methods including MIG, TIG and Stick is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cut, bend, tie, and weld rebar sizes #3 through #8 to assemble reinforcement cages.
• Weld to precise specifications from shop drawings for precast concrete structures.
• Maintain quality and safety standards in a small-team shop environment.

Position Overview

This position is for an experienced Precast Production Welder withexperience in MIG welding to support rebar, reinforcement cage fabrication for precast, concrete structures ranging in size and complexity. Position entails working from shop drawings to cut, bend, tie, and weld rebar size #3 through #8 to assemble reinforcement cages for custom-engineered concrete castings used in storm and sanitary water construction projects. Quality and consistency of workproductessential.
