Job summary

Horizons HR Services is seeking a Production/Warehouse Associate to join a meat processing team. You will operate cutting and packaging machines, palletize finished products, and support sanitation and safety protocols.

This permanent, full-time role offers weekly pay, paid training, and full medical and retirement benefits. Candidates should be able to lift 30-60 lbs and work in cold environments with mechanical lifting aid. Prior meat industry exposure is a plus.

• Ability to read and follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions and lift 30-60 lbs with or without mechanical assistance.

Responsibilities

• Operate meat cutting and packaging machines to process meat products.
• Palet forming and stacking pallets for shipping.
• Work around animal blood and carcass parts.
• Work in cold environments.
• Handle sanitation and cleaning chemicals as required.
• Lift 30-60 lbs or use mechanical assistance when needed.

Job Description: Production/Warehouse Associate

• Working with meat/cutting/packaging machines and other equipment to process meat products.
• Palletizing product and/or building pallets to be used for shipping.
• Work around animal blood and/or carcass parts.
• Work in cold areas.
• Work with sanitation/cleaning chemicals.
• This work may require to lift 30-60 lbs or using mechanical assistance to lift objects.

Skills Preferred: Production/Warehouse Associate

• Understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Perform a task requiting repetitive movements including grasping, pinching hands, flexing, and extending arms.
• May require certification in order to operate various pieces of equipment required for the position.
