Job summary

Horizons HR Services is seeking a Production Associate for the 2nd shift on a meat production line. This permanent role offers weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and a 401K.

You will operate and assist with meat processing equipment, palletize products, and work in cold environments while following strict sanitation and safety protocols. Ability to lift 30–60 lbs or use assistive devices is required.

Qualifications

• Understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Perform tasks requiring repetitive movements including grasping, pinching, flexing, and extending arms.
• May require certification to operate various equipment.

Responsibilities

• Palletize product and build pallets for shipping.
• Work around animal blood and carcass parts.
• Work in cold areas.
• Handle sanitation/cleaning chemicals safely.

• Working with meat/cutting/packaging machines and other equipment to process meat products.
• Palletizing product and/or building pallets to be used for shipping.
• Work around animal blood and/or carcass parts.
• Work in cold areas.
• Work with sanitation/cleaning chemicals.
• This work may require to lift 30-60 lbs or using mechanical assistance to lift objects.

Skills Preferred: Packaging Operator
