Job summary

Horizons HR Services is seeking a Production/Warehouse Associate for a leading U.S. meat processing company. You will operate and monitor meat cutting and packaging equipment, palletize products, and support the shipping process on a 2nd shift.

The role requires working around blood and carcass parts, in cold environments, with occasional heavy lifting (30–60 lbs) or use of mechanical aids. Training is provided and benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Perform tasks requiring repetitive movements including grasping and arm movements.
• Certification may be required to operate various equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate meat processing and packaging equipment.
• Paletize products and prepare pallets for shipping.
• Work around animal blood and carcass parts.
• Work in cold environments.
• Lift 30–60 lbs or use mechanical lifting aids.

Job Description: Production/Warehouse Associate

• Working with meat/cutting/packaging machines and other equipment to process meat products.
• Palletizing product and/or building pallets to be used for shipping.
• Work around animal blood and/or carcass parts.
• Work in cold areas.
• Work with sanitation/cleaning chemicals.
• This work may require to lift 30-60 lbs or using mechanical assistance to lift objects.

Skills Preferred: Production/Warehouse Associate

• Understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Perform a task requiting repetitive movements including grasping, pinching hands, flexing, and extending arms.
• May require certification in order to operate various pieces of equipment required for the position.
