Remedy Staffing is seeking dependable associates to join a growing food production team in Erie, PA. Warehouse & Production Associate - 1st & 2nd Shift.

Pay is $17.00/hour for 1st Shift and $18.00/hour for 2nd Shift, with a cold environment required on the production floor. Duties include processing, packaging, labeling, scanning, loading/unloading, and ensuring sanitary work areas.

Qualifications

• Frequent lifting and carrying is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and handle raw meat products.
• Assist with food processing and production operations.
• Operate production equipment as needed.
• Follow food safety and quality standards.
• Maintain clean and sanitary work areas.
• Assist with sous vide cooking processes.
• Load and unload shipments.
• Wrap and package finished products.
• Label and scan products.
• Assist with shipping and receiving activities.

Pay

Shift Times

• 1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 5:30 AM - 2:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

Cold Environment Required

Employees will work in refrigerated areas throughout the shift.

• Processing Room: Handling and preparing raw meat products.
• Cooler Area: Approximately 40°F, packing, wrapping, labeling, boxing, and scanning finished products.

Candidates must be comfortable working in cold temperatures for extended periods.

Production Duties

• Prepare and handle raw meat products
• Assist with food processing and production operations
• Operate production equipment as needed
• Follow food safety and quality standards
• Maintain clean and sanitary work areas
• Assist with sous vide cooking processes
• Complete other production-related tasks as assigned

Warehouse & Packaging Duties

• Load and unload shipments
• Wrap and package finished products
• Build boxes and prepare orders for shipment
• Label and scan products
• Assist with shipping and receiving activities

Physical Requirements

• Frequent lifting and carrying
• Bending, twisting, stooping, and reaching
• Working on wet or slippery surfaces
• Exposure to refrigerated and freezer temperatures
