Job summary

Tyson Foods near Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Utility to support line start-up, remove trash, and stock packaging materials to keep production flowing smoothly.

The role involves packing and palletizing cases, labeling as needed, and following strict Tyson/USDA safety rules. You may operate a pallet jack, monitor product controls, and perform required tasks with attention to safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Perform routine repetitive tasks.
• Read weights and scales.
• Sufficient mathematical ability to perform calculations and analyze data.
• Willing to become certified to operate a pallet jack.
• Must be able and willing to work overtime and weekends if needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in line start-up and remove trash, relieve when necessary.
• Stock line with packaging materials (bags, boxes, strapping, tape, clips).
• Pack and palletize cases of cooked food products and label as needed.
• Notify supervisor if machinery is not operating properly.
• Maintain clean work area and follow Tyson/USDA safety rules and PPE use.
• Operate pallet jack and monitor key product control points (weight, size, temperature).
