Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a [Production Associate] to maintain and operate filler lines, casers, boxers, tray packers, and bundlers. You will ensure raw materials are available and reflect usage in the WMS, monitor quality, and perform required checks while maintaining safety and cleanliness on the production floor.

The role requires reading and interpreting procedures, accurate paperwork, and the ability to adapt to changing conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Sets up and operates equipment per SOP and safety guidelines.
  • Ensures raw materials are available per production schedule.
  • Maintains materials using WMS for usage tracking.
  • Monitors materials and production to meet specs.
  • Performs quality checks as required by Quality Department.
  • Maintains clean, safe work area; reports safety concerns.

Job Description:

Possess the ability to maintain safe and efficient operations of all filler lines, casers, boxers, tray packer, and bundlers and work effectively in each area as business needs dictate.

Responsibility and Duties:

Sets up and operates equipment in accordance with Standard Operating Procedure and safe operating guidelines.

Assures proper raw materials are available to run production in accordance with production schedule.

Maintains a continuous supply of necessary raw and/or packaging materials to run production and properly utilizes the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to reflect material usage.

Monitors materials and production to ensure quality and compliance with product specifications.

Performs all necessary quality checks and testing as determined by the Quality Department or management.

Monitors job tasks to ensure food safety and quality and promptly reports any concerns or issues to supervisor and/or Quality Assurance Department

Completes associated production paperwork in a neat, timely, and accurate manner.

Documents any downtime affiliated with equipment or personnel deficiencies.

Maintains a clean and orderly work area.

Completes associated production paperwork in a neat, timely, and accurate manner.

Writes and speaks clearly and informatively and able to read and interpret written information.

Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and completes work in timely manner.

Able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events and reacts well under pressure.

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six to twelve months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills:

Ability to competently and accurately operate a hand held Warehouse Management System Scanning Device.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

Must posses (or attain within seven (7) working days of initial hire or placement in this position) and maintain a current and valid forklift and pallet jack operator's license.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, however the employee may be required to enter production areas where the noise level is usually loud and hearing protection is required.
