Job summary

US Farathane is seeking a Utility Operator at our Auburn Hills, MI plant. The role emphasizes dependable, detail-oriented work with opportunities for internal growth. The 1st shift position offers training and ongoing development to support career progression within the company.

The Operator will follow quality alerts, operate machines during breaks, manage material handling, and document daily safety audits and scrap data as part of a focus on efficiency and safe operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 months of related production or utility experience preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Understand and adhere to location Quality Alerts and containment actions.
• Operate machines during scheduled and unscheduled breaks and in the absence of operators.
• Complete scrap tracking, FTQ, and hourly count sheets as required.
• Assist in reworking and sorting non-conforming products.
• Maintain safety, PPE usage, and a clean work environment.
• Communicate with supervisors about production and safety issues as they arise.
