Job summary

US Farathane Corporation in Auburn Hills, MI is seeking a Material Handler for the 3rd shift (11:00pm - 7:00am) with a $1.50/hr shift premium. This role ensures timely flow of materials from arrival to finished goods and supports in-house material movement, including rework and scrap handling, primarily by operating a hi-lo or pallet jack.

Key duties include maintaining the Central Load room, logging material changes, following FIFO, weighing parts, and keeping presses stocked and areas clear.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Hi-lo experience preferred.
• Able to read simple instructions and write simple notes.
• Able to perform basic arithmetic and measurements.
• Able to manage multiple tasks in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Central Load room and manage material changes.
• Log all material type changes and use BOM as needed.
• Follow FIFO when replacing material.
• Weigh parts running without scales.
• Keep presses stocked with totes and skids; keep areas clear.
• Operate forklift or pallet jack safely.
