Job summary

Staffmark Group in Dayton, OH is hiring a Production Utility Associate on 2nd or 3rd shift with a starting pay of $18.50 per hour. You'll train on the job while helping keep production lines moving and products meeting quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist machine operators and leads in manufacturing corrugated packaging products.
• Perform quality inspections on in-process and finished products.
• Support machine setup, material feeding, product handling, cleanup, and general production operations.
• Rotate between production tasks to support workflow and efficiency.
• Monitor product quality and report defects, equipment concerns, or safety issues.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following safety policies and procedures.
• Communicate with operators, supervisors, and team members to achieve goals.
• Help meet daily productivity, quality, and efficiency targets.
• Perform additional production, warehouse, and manufacturing support duties as assigned.

Education Requirements

Experience Requirements

• Previous manufacturing, production, packaging, assembly, or corrugated industry experience preferred.
• Experience as a Flexo Helper, Die Cut Helper, Press Helper, Production Associate, or Machine Operator Assistant is a plus.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing equipment, production processes, quality standards, and workplace safety practices.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, lift, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.
• Must be able to regularly lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work around moving machinery, noise, vibration, humidity, and other manufacturing conditions.
• Requires close attention to detail, depth perception, color recognition, and the ability to safely perform production tasks while wearing required PPE.
