Job summary

Staffmark Group in Dayton, OH is hiring a Production Utility Associate on 2nd or 3rd shift with a starting pay of $18.50 per hour. You'll train on the job while helping keep production lines moving and products meeting quality standards.

You'll work with a team focused on safety and efficiency, perform inspections, assist operators, and participate in setup, feeding, and cleanup tasks. This role offers weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for advancement within a safety-focused

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written work instructions, safety procedures, and production specifications.
• Basic math skills, including measurements, percentages, and using a tape measure.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain Lift Truck Operator certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist machine operators and leads in manufacturing corrugated packaging products.
• Perform quality inspections on in-process and finished products.
• Support machine setup, material feeding, product handling, cleanup, and general production operations.
• Rotate between production tasks to support workflow and efficiency.
• Monitor product quality and report defects, equipment concerns, or safety issues.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following safety policies and procedures.
• Communicate with operators, supervisors, and team members to achieve goals.
• Help meet daily productivity, quality, and efficiency targets.
• Perform additional production, warehouse, and manufacturing support duties as assigned.
